Ada Harte joined the CareTech Foundation Investment Committee in April 2023. Ada is a dual-qualified solicitor (England and Wales / Ireland) and senior legal counsel with more than two decades of executive and board, legal and regulatory advisory experience within the global Financial Services industry.
Ada brings significant international experience having advised corporate and management company boards in UK, Luxembourg, Ireland as well as providing strategic business leadership through membership of various management committees, include risk oversight, product and regulatory project steering committees.
Ada was previously Deputy General Counsel, Head of Legal, EMEA, Natixis International Distribution. Prior to this, Ada had been Head of Legal UK at Invesco.
Ada began her post qualification legal career at international law firm A&L Goodbody Solicitors in Ireland, before moving in-house and working in a number of large global asset management firms.
Ada is passionate about diversity and inclusion and has been a member of the Steering Committee of a women’s networks as well as supporting numerous diversity and inclusion initiatives during her executive career. Ada graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business and Law, and also holds a postgraduate masters degree in Financial Services law from University College Dublin.
In her spare time, Ada is often seen at the side lines of the football pitch supporting her sons play.
