The National Theatre

Over three years, the Foundation’s funding will enable the delivery of the Public Acts programme, showcasing how the creative and social care sectors can work together on a national scale to make lasting impact in communities of complex needs groups (disabilities, LGBTQ+). Funding will support Public Acts to build community engagement across the country, create large-scale productions with community groups and support new research for the programme.Performances have included The Caucasian Chalk Circle in Doncaster, Odyssey as part of National Theatre’s anniversary year. Over 300 community members have participated in the programme, and National Theatre delivered an exclusive workshop for CareTech Ltd’s young people and staff, displaying how immersive the programme is.
