In Pakistan, an estimated 50 million people are confronted with mental health challenges, and
regrettably, 90% of these individuals lack access to the necessary care. In response to this critical issue, the CareTech Foundation and the British Asian Trust formed a partnership in 2018 with the aim of transforming mental health by destigmatising these issues,raising awareness, and advocating for improved services.

Over the past five years, our efforts have reached nearly 6 million people, provided support to over 82,000 individuals with mental health concerns, and trained 2,200 practitioners.

We are pleased to announce that our work has been shortlisted for Charity Partnership of the Year at the Third Sector Awards 2024. This recognition underscores the significant impact and commitment of our endeavours. We are excited to share this news and remain dedicated to transforming the mental health landscape in Pakistan.
