Alzheimer’s Research
We are pleased to award a Match-Funding Grant of £350 to Becky Cooper, Headteacher at Hidelow Grange School, who along with her sister raised £1,763 for Alzheimer’s Society. The sisters completed a 13-mile sponsored walk on their father’s 80th birthday, as he had just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day the charity finds a cure, they will aim to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
