The Foundation awarded TAP (Thank And Praise), the free-to-use social thanking platform, with a Community Grant of £2,500 to support frontline care professionals.
Established in January 2019, TAP was created in order to provide people with an easy way to show appreciation to keyworkers in education, healthcare and social care via a digital platform accessible via www.thankandpraise.com and the TAP App.
TAP is now supporting the wellbeing of 75,000 keyworkers at 5,000 locations around the country through the power of gratitude.
All messages received via TAP’s platform are moderated for positivity before sharing on organisational ‘Thanking Walls’ and on social media.
Thanks to this grant from the Foundation, TAP is able to support the London Care and Support (LCAS) Forum and 1,500 care organisations within the London region via the provision and management of a dedicated LCAS Forum Thanking Wall. TAP also supports a social media outreach programme to raise awareness of this important Care Association and promote the benefits of its platform. All designed to increase recognition of care professionals in the region and ultimately to improve staff wellbeing.
