The Foundation was pleased to support CareTech plc’s Yardleyfields Care Home with a match funding award.
The staff and services users at the home raised money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, through a ‘bake off’ fundraising event in July 2019.
At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, they believe there’s always more they can do for their sick kids. They raise funds to make a real difference to children and their families, because every patient deserves a childhood.
The Yardleyfields team invited family and friends to their event, and made delicious refreshments and deluxe cakes – selling them to raise funds.
The team raised £111.30, which was matched by the CareTech Foundation.
