CareTech Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Tariq Raja as Executive Director
CareTech Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Tariq Raja as Executive Director from September this year. Tariq has been with the Foundation since April 2019, working closely with former CEO, Jonathan Freeman MBE, and helping to build the Foundation to where it is today.
Since 2019, Tariq has proven his leadership qualities and built strong relationships across CareTech Ltd and the social care and charity sectors. The Foundation’s achievements include:
- Distributing £4,162,376 in grants and donations
- supporting 1.9 million beneficiaries directly
- training 3,799 facilitators
- gaining 814 individuals employment in health and social care
- supporting over 334 charities through our smaller grants.
Tariq has a proven record of championing under represented communities and has valuable experience in the charity sectors of the UK and Pakistan. Since joining the Foundation, he has been responsible for managing the Partnership portfolio, bringing together a high calibre of social care focussed charitable programmes. Tariq is also a trustee of Citizens Advice Milton Keynes and Inter-Action Milton Keynes.
We are excited to announce Tariq as Executive Director, an appointment that ensures continuity at the Foundation. We have delivered incredibly since 2017 and we want to ensure the Foundation continues to cement its place in the sector, championing staff, beneficiaries and the sector as a whole. We thank Jonathan for his contribution and relay our best wishes in this new phase of his journey. As we look forward, we will continue to build and Tariq will drive this for us.
