Victoria Bouamama

Trustee, Member of Remuneration Committee

With over three decades of experience, Victoria embarked on her journey by volunteering to support educational programs for individuals with learning disabilities. Recognizing her compassionate nature, the NHS offered her a role as a care worker. This ignited Victoria’s passion, leading her to assist psychologists in behavior monitoring and PBS interventions. Encouraged by a psychologist, she pursued a degree in Learning Disabilities Nursing at Keele University.

Victoria worked in Forensic Services for 5 years, specializing in autism through self-study and hands-on experience. Transitioning to a management role, she established and oversaw an Autism-focused service while working towards qualifications in clinical supervision and adult teaching.

As an educator, she covered Health and Social Care and related skills. Eventually, Victoria returned to a management role, achieving success as a nurse manager for a complex needs nursing facility, and successfully revitalized it to secure a positive CQC report. Victoria also attained a Nurse Mentorship Level 6 qualification and later joined Coveberry Caretech, where she managed a supported living service.

In applying her skills, continuous learning, and nurturing the growth of the individuals she served, she found fulfillment. Victoria’s diverse career path exemplifies dedication, passion, and a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of those with learning disabilities.
